Working in the Healthcare Staffing Industry for almost 10 years as the Chief Information Officer for two New York based Healthcare staffing firms, Bill decided it was time to open his own organization.
"When opening offices for my past employers, the IT division was responsible to have the new office functional and to train the new staff on how to use the tools necessary to run their new business. I always said to myself that if I had my own business, I would have done things differently. First and foremost, it would make sense to have a national office where every office works together and the Allied Professional being represented would come first." And that’s just what I did."
After dealing with IT recruiters in my own career, I felt the people on the other side of the phone never took the time to listen what was best for me and were working for the clients best interest. The positions that were offered to me were not advantageous to my career path. No one took the time to understand what "I" always wanted in a new position. Working on different equipment and a flexible work schedule would have been nice to hear on the other end of the call.
